Mr. Heriberto Sanchez, was born December 05, 1965 in Miami Fl. After mom left 8 months pregnant with me from Cuba for a better life; He is a product of Dade County Public Schools, attending Citrus Grove Elementary, Citrus Grove Middle. Miami Senior High School forgoing his senior year to attend La Progresiva Presbyterian School. Mr. Sanchez then attended Andrew Junior College in Cuthbert, Ga. on a baseball scholarship in pursuit of an Associates in Science Degree. He then accepted a baseball scholarship to attend Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, Ga.  and majored in Parks and Recreation, finishing his undergraduate work at Florida International University. Mr. Sanchez then attended Nova Southeastern University and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Finally, Mr. Sanchez attended Florida International University’s Principals Leadership Development Program followed by their course in “Mentoring for Leadership Effectiveness”. In his 28-year career with Dade County Public Schools, Mr. Sanchez taught Mathematics at Henry. H. Filer Middle for ten years followed by 2 years also teaching mathematics at Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior. In 2003 he accepted his first administrative role as Assistant Principal at Miami carol City Senior for five years. He then transferred to American Senior High School for another 5 years. After American Senior, Mr. Sanchez was promoted to Principal at Hialeah Senior High School until present. Mr. Sanchez is married with three beautiful daughters, one handsome son, all products of Dade County Public Schools and two handsome grandsons. Mrs. Gisel Sanchez is the Chorus teacher at Lawton Chiles Middle School.
