Mariangelli (Angie) Fernandez has served in the capacity of Community Outreach Representative for the Office of the State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle since 2010.  Prior to joining the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office she worked as a subcontractor for five of Florida’s State Attorney’s overseeing and managing each region’s Bad Check Diversion Program. Ms. Fernandez has a background in Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service and Human Resources.  She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University, HR Management Certificate from Barry University and a Paralegal Certificate from Jones College.  She attended the FBI’s Citizen Academy, Criminal Justice Information System-Security & Awareness Training; the Identity Theft Victim Assistance Summit hosted by the National Organization for Victim Assistance and took part in the “Investment Fraud Prevention” webinar hosted by National Crime Prevention Council & FINRA Investor Education Foundation, she was part of the planning group for the Elder Financial Abuse Symposium of the Older Adults Financial Protection Consortium of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties.  She is presently a board member for the Hialeah Community Coalition (HCC), an organization focused on educating the community on the consequences of alcohol, drugs or any substances that targets our youth and community.  Ms. Fernandez continues to educate and inform the community on the various programs and services provided by the State Attorney’s Office.
